Joan, I am so sorry to hear about your sister. It's never easy to lose a loved one. You did so much for her. Remember the good times.
We had pork loin, green beans, potato salad for me, coleslaw for my husband.
Yesterday I made a batch of blondies in a brownie pampered chef pan that has 12 square little individual pans. My recipe filled 11 of them. My great niece's and nephew's school has fund raising events and that's where I got the pan. All I had to do was adjust the baking time and lower the temp to 325. They came out fine. I haven't been baking at all. The only thing I do is make yogurt weekly.
No, I'm close to the Rhinebeck sheep and wool fest in NY which is in October.
I'll find you! Γ°ΒΒΒ I head up the hill first thing as the bldgs are so crowded.
Chocomouse, I'll have to stop by Ellen's booth at the Rhinebeck sheep and wool. I see her listed in the 2021 festival program. I go every year and luckily it's 15 minutes from my house.

Sounds like delish cheesecake, Joan! How did it taste? Very similar to the one I make except I use 3 eggs and 2 cups of sour cream. I make mine in a 10 inch springform. A trick I learned from someone on the bc is to line the inside of the springform sides with strips of parchment. When you take off the rim, all you have to do is peel off the parchment. A lot cleaner!
Made a cinnamon chip loaf which was posted on the old bc by Lews. Mods I made was using oil instead of butter and subbing 1 cup of www for reg flour. I found cinn chips at nuts.com when kaf no longer had them. I make this quite often. Great for breakfast with a cup of coffee.
Great loaves, Chocomouse!
Had 2 ears of corn yesterday for dinner. Husband had a sabrett hot dog with fries. Today made yogurt. Dinner was 4 cheese mac and cheese with bacon in it.
Just made zucchini bread from the whole wheat book -- first time using that recipe. Hope it's not too dry. I always use currants in my zucchini bread rather than raisins.
BakerAunt, thanks for the laugh. That was hilarious! Lol
