Joan, I'm definitely putting that on my list to make. Thanks!

I'm making cornbread to go with the chicken chili tonight

I'm originally from NJ and we ate hot cross buns every Easter. I'm Lutheran.

I agree with you, Mike. I use kosher salt in baking. I never cooked with salt or put salt on my food. No medical reason other than I never thought to do it.

Yeah, Mike, looks delish. I like a cold meatloaf sandwich with lots of ketchup. My grandfather always told me that to put ketchup on food was an insult to the cook. Lol. I'm a ketchup addict.

I'm having a grilled cheese sandwich tonight. I know it sounds strange, but my mother always put cinnamon sugar on top and that's how I still eat it.

Joan, you are 1 ambitious woman today! Let me know how the cake tastes. I went to the website and sent it to my email.

I made a loaf of white bread because I like it for French toast and grilled cheese

                  Happy Birthday, CWCdesign!

My husband had a reverse total shoulder replacement in 2017. He slept in the recliner for a while because it was too uncomfortable in bed. Good luck and I hope it turns out well.

Chocomouse, I need to make more ww bread. Yours sounds very interesting. I still have maple syrup from October when I saw you in Rhinebeck at the sheep & wool.

                      Good deal, Joan!!

My nephew uses it in cooking instead of oil or lard. Supposed to be healthy. He ordered half a steering from the butcher and asked for all the fat. He rendered it all into tallow. He's got more energy than me! 😆

I hate the heat. 97? Ugh. It was cold here today and a few flurries. Supposed to be 67 by Thursday.

Hi, Navlys. I have never used it but my nephew made soap with it and sent me some. Very soothing and makes your skin soft. I'll ask him if he does anything else with it.

I googled what to do with beef tallow and it says it has a high smoking point and you can sear steaks, use it in biscuits, saute stuff, etc. Let us know what you do with it.
