Still using left overs...tonight I chopped up rest of smoked chicken and mixed with BBQ sauce ate that on top of toast with mashed potatoes and garden peas on the side.
I can't taste the glaze,just keeps bread soft and shiny and does a good job of sticking the seeds on.
I baked the Austrian Malt bread today decreased the salt a little .When it had risen I used a cornstarch glaze and sprinkled it with sesame seeds.I was pleased ,it looks and tastes very good and light.I baked it like the recipe says at 375* and it was done in 30 minutes.Lots of time I bake bread at 350*.
Last night cleaning out left overs and made lima bean soup.tonight I'm cooking sausage,left over squash and green beans with potatoes in them.
Fired up the smoker made me a smoke pouch of hickory chips.Smoked a small chicken whole,baked beans and baked potato.
Mike I love anything on the grill.
Tonight we had cubed pork,rice and tomato gravy and stewed squash with lots of onions.Tonight we had dry lima beans cooked with hog jowl,potato salad,corn bread and smoked sausage.
Wonky what a blessing to have your Daddy so long!Sending prayers for you and your family.We had Hospice with my husbands mother and dad and they were a blessing to us.Praying for a peaceful passing.
Cold plates here tonight.I made Tuna salad,pear salad,beets,deviled eggs,sliced tomatoes and crackers,jello is made for later on with cottage cheese.That'll be lunch tomorrow too!
Tonight we had fried chicken,turnips out of the freezer,macaroni and cheese and corn bread.
Tonight we had left over pork roast, I made BBQ sandwiches and home fries.

Tonight was left over night,not really what we wanted but it filled us up.Waste not want not.
I have a pressure cooker 6 qt.I hardly use it either.
Today I fixed a small pork roast in roasting pan with carrots,onions and potatoes,seasoned with salt,pepper ,onion powder and paprika.Added about a cup of water and baked about two and a half hours.Was good and juicy,plenty of meat for left overs.
