Breakfast for supper here tonight,just eggs,toast and coffee.
I baked a spice cake today from the site Len told us about Jenny can cook.I'm happy with the results,8 inch cake only one layer and it's very good frosted with cream cheese icing.Not very sweet but sweet enough I think the cake had 1 & 1/4 cup flour to 2/3 cup sugar.We liked it.
Chocomouse I know you're happy with the pie crust that's alot to be happy about!
Pets are special wow 18 yrs for a cat,definitely part of the family!
Yesterday I made taco salad and tonight we had dry lima beans,rice,corn bread and I fried a slice of Spam.Made us a hamburger tonight.
Len,yours look good!I enjoyed reading about Jenny-she has some good looking recipes.Thanks.

Happy your husband is home and prayers for you and him.I know how demanding this is not only physically but emotionally for the both of you.
Tonight it's potato soup and sandwich.
Small pot of chili here.The first day it's been cool and breezy.69-70* today.
Yesterday I had bacon,turnips,potato salad and corn bread.Today I'm frying chicken tenders(which I have beat and soaked in buttermilk yeah it's one of those big chicken breasts) left over mashed potatoes that I've added cheese and bacon bits and left over squash.
I have noticed this in chicken also.Sometime when I buy chicken boneless breasts to use for chicken tenders there is a very big tendon or whatever it is that I take my knife and cut away.I can push it away from the meat and pull with the knife.And yes they are huge,we like small chickens and they are very hard to find.
I marinated chicken breasts in Italian salad dressing then put in fry pan and seared and cooked till all sauce cooked down,was very tasty and moist,we had stewed squash and garden pea salad with this also.
I know I've never made a pie dough that I could twist like that either Mike.
We had Taco salad tonight.
Tonight I made fried cubed pork,thickened potatoes in a cream sauce and left over carrots with garden peas.
