I recently made brownies using an "Inspired Taste" recipe. The recipe called for cocoa and I used the Dutch cocoa that I purchased from KA. They were delicious. Trying to find the recipe again I found another "Inspired Taste" brownie recipe that called for regular cocoa , 6T butter and 4T oil in lieu of 10T butter. It also included baking powder and an egg yolk. I am tempted to try this latter recipe but why fool with success?
Thanks,Mike. I will check it out.
Mike do you use the semolina bread recipe on KA's sight? I still have some flour left over from making the cheesy semolina bread and want to use it up.
Ba, don't forget to include delicata squash. The skin is even edible and the flesh is sweet and creamy!
Potato soup with brazillian rolls dusted with extra cheese.
I baked baklava bites using Natasha's Kitchen recipe. The only tricky part was the syrup. I didn't bring the syrup to a rolling boil initially and then has to guess what the consistency should be. I should have looked at the pictures before hand. They were well received at our Greek wine night event.
I pan grilled some petite sirloin steak strips which I marinated. I served it with baked potatoes and baked delicata squash which is is sweet and tasty!
I made mini loaves of banana bread in the KA mini loaves pan. Love that pan because it makes perfectly sized loaves to give away as gifts. Nothing sticks either.

After making them for the last 10 years I just discovered that using rotisserie chicken and my food processor cut the time in half. My family loves these.

We belong to a wine club and this month's theme was Argentinian wine. To go with the wine I found a recipe for "chipas". The reviews were all glowing! It called for tapioca flour and regular flour. I weighed my flours even though the gram per cup was not the same on every site. They were tasteless. Another person made them and hers were even worse because she didn't use the tapioca flour. Maybe Argentinians have a different palate!
Happy Birthday Mike Nolan!
Lamb loin chops with mint jelly, roasted potatoes and peas. Costco has the largest lamb chops at a lower price than most places.
