I let my preference of berries cloud my judgment and missed it.
When I take a pic with my iphone, I email it to myself, open it on my laptop and save the pic in my picture library. Then I can edit it (if I didn't already do so on the phone) and post it here. Once you do it a couple of times you will have the hang of it, it's really not hard to do.
I had Italian sausage which I cooked in a fry pan with some onion, then made a gravy, had it with barley and cauliflower and carrots. It was pretty good.
BA, I placed an order with KAF on the 8th and just got the shipping email today, so expect about a 20 day wait for it to ship. I really don't understand that because they are out of most flours etc so how many orders can they have?
That's another one I got wrong.
I had leftover sloppy joe meat over rice, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and carrot.

I've been cutting back on the yeast too, by 2 grams for my bun recipe. It's been working just fine.
I made sloppy joes today.
Yes, Whole Foods Amazon is for local delivery so you have to have a store reasonably close to you. Before Whole Foods was bought by Amazon, you could get local delivery through Insta Cart. I realize not not everyone has access to it but the point I was wanted to make is that fresh cake yeast can be found, at least in some areas. Also, there is yeast to be had out there somewhere, maybe (hopefully) it will start to show up on store shelves soon.
I was just browsing Whole Foods at Amazon, they have fresh cake yeast, 2 ounce cakes, available. They are also showing envelopes of active dry yeast available.
I don't understand artichokes, Mike, how do you make those?
I had a pot roast sandwich, mashed taters and broccoli and cauliflower.
I have made pancakes without eggs and they were fine.
I think I overmixed the batter. It said to mix for one minute, which I did using a timer. Maybe 45 seconds would be better. The batter comes out thick, almost like a thin bread batter, you have to smooth it out in the pan because it will retain whatever shaped it had when it's dropped in the pan. I get the mix in packs of 4 from Amazon because I like to have something on hand, so I'll be making it again. I'll get it right one of these days.
