I've done it but it usually isn't pretty. I would roll it out in between 2 sheets of wax paper, remove the top sheet and then take it to the pie with the bottom sheet and then flip in onto the pie and hope my aim is good. Removing the bottom sheet of wax paper is a little tricky. I like Mike's idea about freezing it first.

Yesterday I baked the Noel Nut Balls. Today I made 2 loaves of stollen. I have frozen chocolate chip cookie dough that I will bake tomorrow and then that's it for now.

I made a pizza tonight, ground chicken and a little pepperoni. It came out nice.
I measured out the dried fruit for 2 stollens and am soaking it in rum. I'm planning on making the stollens on Monday or Tuesday.
I pulled out 2 sticks of butter from the freezer for a batch of Martha Stewart's Noel Nut Balls that I plan on making tomorrow.
I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies using an Alton Brown recipe (The Puffy), portioned it out and froze it for baking later in the week. I did hold out a few and baked them tonight.
Am also contemplating an easy fruitcake that I saw in a video on youtube from Joy of Baking. This is a long shot but it is in the back of my head.

Today I made chicken burgers seasoned with taco seasoning. Had one with a simple chicken veg soup made with low sodium boxed broth.

Tonight I had leftover chicken, brown rice and brussels sprouts.
That's more snow than I want, Kimbob, about 12 to 18 inches too much! I hope it doesn't turn out so bad.
December 14, 2020 at 9:15 pm in reply to: What are you Cooking the week of December 13, 2020? #27813I rubbed the chicken with olive oil, I thought about using butter but oil is just easier to use. I seasoned it with salt with a pinch of sugar in it, a little sprinkle of garlic powder and paprika.
Tonight I made a chicken sandwich and brussels sprouts smothered with mushroom gravy.

I used the convection mode hoping to get crispy skin but it's not as crispy as I would like, still it came out good.

Tonight I had leftover chicken spaghetti sauce with bow tie pasta and green beans.
I cooked some ground chicken, added some jar pasta sauce to it and had it over penne.
I pulled the turkey carcass from the freezer and made some stock, something I've been meaning to do for a while.
Dinner will be my last leftover pork chop with pasta.
I had a leftover pork chop, pasta, brussels sprouts and carrots.
