BakerAunt Shoepeg corn is so tender and good.I buy Le Sueur brand of canned corn,it's very tiny kernels and just tender for canned corn.I just heat it up with a little butter.The other brands I've bought before were so big and tough looked like what we use to feed pigs.Trust me look for this you'll love it.I've seen it in grocery store in frozen section with cream sauce over it but I've never tried that one.

Tonight we had Beef stew,thickened potatoes and shoe peg white corn.
Today I baked a loaf of Cinnamon bread from KAF site,mixed as normal but added mashed potatoes instead of flakes.When I patted it out to sprinkle cinnamon mixture I wasn't thinking and did it like cinnamon rolls well when I realized it I should have cut them for rolls and bake but noooooo I scrunched it up and got that long snake in the bread pan,I was using a 9x5.It baked fine but had a crease half way across the bread so it was like a bump on each end.After it has cooled I cut and it's fine tastes like a cinnamon roll and the swirl stayed together,no separation.Cinnamon rolls stay on my brain I guess lol!Anyways all is good.I did as ya'll said and left in the pan to cool awhile,it helped.
Tonight we had chicken tenders,broccoli and cheese sauce with a baked potato.

Welcome Bakergirl.I tried bagels one time from a King Arthur recipe they were just OK never tried them again.
The best bagels I've ever eaten were from a little bagel shop in NJ when our son lived there.-

Beautiful pie RiversideLen.Today I baked a loaf of Banana Bread,it was that or I'd have to freeze them.

I made a small pot of vegetable soup and fresh pimento cheese sandwiches.
Fried chicken breast,left over black eyed peas and macaroni and cheese.
Wonky I saved bread once before same thing happened to me but I had to go to town and buy fresh.
No cooking here tonight we had chef salads with smoked turkey,ham,eggs,cheese and tomatoes and I made Thousand Island dressing.
Tonight we had chicken divine,left turnips and pear salad with mayonnaise and cheese on top.
I baked the Vienna bread today only half the recipe.It was very good it was about 3-1/2 inches high but had a good crumb.I like bread soft so when it was just out of the oven I brushed it with butter.I was wondering if I could taste the vinegar but didn't.It slices well too.
