Tonight we had cubed pork,left over potato salad and garden peas.

I have a small pot of vegetable beef soup with hamburger and fresh pimento cheese made for sandwiches,mmm good.This is soup weather.

We had fried chicken,turnips and potato salad.

Tonight I made BBQ chicken in pot,had the gravy over rice and whole kernel corn.

After Thanksgiving I went for two days to my sister's home for a visit,we had a nice time.I took left overs and still have left overs but tonight we had just a fried egg sandwich and pumpkin pie.

I agree Len,I"m sorry for all the people that have lost their homes and this saddens me for Gina.I have read many posts before on the baking circle when she was an active baker.

We had taco salad and I had mine rolled for a burrito.

I baked KAF pumpkin pie that has black pepper in it(I've baked this one before) and it was very good.I cheated and used a store bought crust,had too much filling for the deep dish pie crust so I baked 2 custard cups of the filling only 20 min baking for them and the pie took about 45 min looks good no cracking and I'm eating one of the custard cups now and it's hitting the spot with a dollop of whip cream.

I've made fresh pumpkin pies but I'm just using canned now,it may be squash but it tastes good to me after all spices are in it.

We had a hamburger tonight,I've been busy preparing for Thanksgiving,I Made corn bread and chopped onions,celery,cooked turnips,boiled a big fat chicken ,picked that off and made my dressing up.It's in the fridge just waiting to bake off Thursday.

We had ham my husband said" I'm tired of ham now" I said well I am too!With that we had macaroni and cheese with green butter beans.I'm cutting the rest of the ham up for seasoning beans etc.and will still get a few nice slices off for the freezer as well.
It will be just the two of us Thanksgiving so I'll be preparing a small meal also.
