Tonight we had fried pork chops, mashed potatoes and peas & carrots.
Seems like a good idea, all done while you sleeping!
Tonight we had beef and bean (left over refried beans from taco salad) enchiladas, rolled in corn tortillas, topped with enchilada sauce and cheese, baked for about 25 min. and I topped mine with a spoonful of sour cream.Quick, easy and good.
Tonight we had meatloaf, baked potato and broccoli & cheese.
I cut the second loaf of sourdough this am and it's much better, nicer texture and not as dry, made really good toast and cut nice.
We had left over black eyed peas, rice and a smoked pork chop.
A few days ago I pulled my sourdough starter out to feed and get ready for baking, after about 5 feedings I baked a loaf yesterday. It was OK,just not as light as it should have been so I mixed up another one last night and it's rising now.It should be better as it rose higher in the bowl than the other one ...so we shall see today.
Yesterday we had spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic toast.
We had chicken-n-rice,garden peas and a salad just lettuce and tomatoes stirred up with mayonnaise.
Just canned soup and grilled cheese sandwich.
We had Oyster Stew.
We had black eyed peas, potato salad, smoked pork chop and corn bread.
I made a marinade of vinegar, oil, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper honey a tad of sugar, onion flakes and powder and lemon juice tasted kind of like oil and vinegar dressing. This was about one third cup and poured that on chicken tenders.Sauteed thinly sliced onions in saute pan then put chicken in with sauce and cooked till done, turning them several times. They turned out really good and we had a baked potato and seasoned green beans.
Tonight we had smoked pork chops, rice and tomatoes and creamed corn.
Glad to hear of your updates on the remodel...nice!
