Last night Will made one of our favorites - 30 Minute Butter Chicken Meatballs from Half Baked Harvest - comfort food curry dinner. We use Penzey's garam masala and half each their hot curry powder and sweet curry powder - if it weren't for me, he'd probably use all hot! he also adds spinach to it. We serve it over Alton Brown's baked brown rice - the easiest and best brown rice recipe we've found. We have enough for leftovers the next nights - it gets better the next day.

Now, Nathaniel down in New Zealand is baking! yesterday I sent him a KABC link to the pretzels and beer cheese - he and I had not had success making one we liked - this one had the addition of cream cheese. so he asked if pretzel bites were easy to make - I said yes, but he needed to read through the recipe first and get all his ingredients measured and ready, then it would be easy (he and I both have the habit of starting recipes before everything is ready). he used his girlfriend's kitchen aid and it all came out well

Georgia is 65 and over for first round along with all healthcare, long term care facilities, law enforcement and fire. One health center vaccinated some teachers in another county and since they didn’t follow regulations the state took away their ability for a few months. At least there are other sites in that county, but still - what a stupid way to “punish”;the health center. I think teachers should have been in the first round.

Through a serendipitous email exchange with a friend, I now have my first scheduled for February 9th. Very thankful.

Will made sourdough pancakes the other morning and they were delicious with your syrup!

Glad to hear your surgery is soon. I have heard the same thing from my friends and my mom who had the surgery. I would love to not have to wear glasses all the time.

I get my stitches out on Monday. I started therapy for my fingers yesterday - arthritis and i couldn't practice making fists as he wanted because the splint was in the way. 24 hours and I can see difference already.
