      DESCRIPTION
      Taco Pie

      SUMMARY
Yield 0 File under Family / Ethnic / Regional

      INSTRUCTIONS
I have been making this since the 70's. I believe it was a Pillsbury Bake Off recipe. It is not healthy or fancy, mainly just an assembly job, but it is soooo good.

      1 can of crescent rolls
      1-1.25 lbs of lean hamburger
1 envelope taco seasoning, reduced sodium is better
      1/2 cup water
      1/2 cup sliced olives
      8 oz sour cream
      1 cup shredded cheddar
      2 cups crushed Fritos, divided

Taco toppings such as taco sauce, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes and onions

Line pie plate with opened up crescent rolls. Put in 1 cup crushed Fritos.
Brown hamburger, drain, add water and taco seasoning. Stir to mix and add sliced olives. Simmer until liquid evaporates, a couple minutes.
Pour meat mixture over Fritos. Spread on sour cream. Top with cheddar and then remaining cup of Fritos.
      Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes.
Remove, serve with taco sauce, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and onions and whatever you like with tacos.
