I was too lazy to bake anything today. I'm ordering a birthday cake for the end of the week which I'm looking forward to!!! Let someone else do the work. ππMom got her 2nd moderna shot at 11 am today. π₯³ So far no side effects.π€ she just had a glass of wine and fell asleep with her tv on. π

Made a pain de mie and shortbread biscuit for strawberry shortcake later.
Yay to everyone who got vaccinated. More vaccine came in so I was able to sign up my husband for tomorrow and myself for Sunday for our first Pfizer shots. 3 weeks later the 2nd. Very happy and grateful!
Wow!! Will's breads look great! Love the designs. Good job!
In the past I've used a big rectangular tupperware to cover bread but for many, many years now I boil some water in a measuring cup in the microwave and then put the dough in the microwave and close the door. It's a nice steamy sauna for the bread. No saran wrap.
Do you have a lame? I've been using single edge razor blades. I'm sure you have more control with a lame.

Herb de provence roasted chicken stuffed with onion, fresh rosemary and the half of orange I have left over from gluhwein surrounded by onions, carrots, potatoes, a few garlic cloves which were tossed with a little olive oil. Cranberry sauce, of course! Hubby will probably want gravy. The house is gonna smell great tonight.
