Tonight we had baked chicken, broccoli and cheese and scalloped potatoes.
Mike that's something I've never heard of lavash...but I googled it.
Today I used up the left over spaghetti and meat sauce to make spaghetti pie.I heat the spaghetti and meat sauce in 1 &1/2 qt casserole then took 4 ounces of cream cheese beaten with 1 egg, parmesan cheese and onion powder.creamed that and topped the spaghetti and added cheddar cheese on top.Baked for about 35 minutes and it was very good.If I had spring onions I add them in with the tops but I wasn't going to grocery store for just that.We had this with salad and garlic bread.Trying to stretch a Indian Head Penny to make a buffalo nickel.Little humor there. It's like eating lasagna.

I baked this recipe today from Mom's Recipe Collection from FB and it's a winner for me,loved it and they stayed soft after cooling,I did use butter in place of margarine and only did a half recipe to try them. They are great. The recipe site is by Susan Harder and she lives in Canada, great site.
Chocolate chip cookies
1 c marg,softened
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 tsp b powder
1/2 tsp b soda
2 c oatmeal
2 c chocolate chips
mix together marg and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Mix together dry ingred and add to marg mixture. add chocolate chips last. Using a small cookie dough scoop or tsp drop on parchment lined pan. Bake 10-12 min at 350/F or until the edges are slightly browned. Better to have it slightly undercooked than over cooked. Let cool on pan for a few mintes..then move to cooling rack.Tonight we had boneless pork ribs and I browned them first then poured a can of mushroom soup and baked for a couple hours, rice and creamed corn. The last time I cooked these they were dry so I changed up to the soup and they turned out very tender and good.
I had a hamburger on light bread and my husband had a hamburger patty with 2 scrambled eggs.
Italiancook we both learned from Chocomouse and Google.I'd never heard of it either.
We had spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic toast.
Last of vegetable soup and a grilled cheese sandwich.
Tonight we had fried cubed pork, seasoned green beans and baked sweet potatoes.
I made stew beef and gravy, rice, garden peas and carrots with hoe cake bread. The way I do this bread it's self rising flour with a dab of oil stirred up with milk to make like a thick pancake batter and cook on griddle or fry pan till browned on one side and flip like pancakes. It tastes like biscuit bread but no rolling and it's fast and easy, good for sopping syrup.
Today I made a small pot of hamburger vegetable soup and we're finishing off the pimento cheese with sandwiches.
Tonight we had hamburger steak with caramelized onions and a baked potato.
