Tonight we had cubed steak,rice and tomato gravy,garden pea salad and I heated up left over steamed cabbage.

Tonight we had fried cubed pork,fried okra and baked sweet potato.

I made 2 loaves of Buttermilk potato bread and it turned out very well,was 4 & 1/2" tall,will cut it later.I didn't mean to like my own post smh I was trying to edit and say I used up left over mashed potatoes that I had in the freezer for this bread.

It has cooled now and I cut it,very good and good crumb.

Using up left overs here we had lima bean soup and I made a churn of strawberry ice cream,all was good.

The only time I throw it away is if I've not used it in along time,otherwise I just stir up and feed and use.I agree about not throwing away,you have to know back in the day they didn't throw it away as flour was a staple and very precious to them.
