BakerAunt your dinner sounded wonderful!
I went to farmers market today and we had roasted pork tenderloin,fresh creamed corn,zipper peas with boiled okra and sliced tomatoes.
Tonight we had chicken tenders,green beans with red potatoes diced in them and macaroni and cheese.
All leftovers here tonight,neckbone and rice,peas and okra,sliced tomatoes and corn bread.
We had breakfast for supper tonight.Bacon,eggs,grits and buttermilk biscuits.
Only baking I did today is buttermilk biscuits.
No baking except for corn bread.
I went to farmers market today.We had pork neck bone cooked till tender then I picked all the lean meat off and cooked rice in that with the meat it cooks up like chicken and rice ,fresh white acre peas cooked with okra, sliced tomatoes and corn bread.And I got a fresh cantaloupe was so good.
I made beef-a-roni ,creamed corn and lettuce and tomato salad.
We're having rest of the Sloppy Joe's on bread,no cooking here.

BakerAunt I wish I had a freezer,I have only the one in the refrigerator so it's limited space.
We had roast and gravy from the freezer,mashed potatoes and cooked carrots,jello using some fruit juice from canned peaches for part of the water.
Today I baked a batch of sugar cookies from a bag of sugar from Publix.The first tray I baked was fine,the second one when the timer went off they looked like they needed another minute...well I had a puzzle on the table and sat down said I'd give them about three minutes...at least 10 or more minutes later I jumped up and snatched them out,brown and when they cooled they were harder than them teething biscuits for babies use to be lol.So I tried one only way to eat them will be dunking in milk or coffee or grinding them for a layered dessert.Damn that puzzle lol.
We had a chargrilled chicken breast that I marinated in Italian dressing, broccoli and cheese with a baked sweet potato.
Tonight I making fried cube steak and gravy with rice and leftover green butter beans.
