Apparently, watching TV cooking shows doesn't do it during a pandemic:

Has anyone checked these out? I did note that KAF has an hour-long tutorial on sourdough. I watched about 10 minutes, but it was slow moving, probably because it is aimed at people who have heretofore not done much baking. I did note that they were using canning jars with screw-on plastic lids, which is a good idea. I might see if I can convert part of my sourdough starter to a rye sourdough starter in a Mason jar.

BakerAunt my sourdough starter is in a wide mouth mason jar, that's the way I've had it since the beginning.Every now and then I dump in bowl to wash the jar.
