I made Martha Stewart's Noel Nut Balls. I will not decorate them yet (calls for drenching them in powdered sugar), I will freeze them. Some will be for Christmas day and others for New Years Eve. I'm thinking about dipping them in white chocolate instead of the powdered sugar. I would like to color some of the white chocolate green and some red but am not sure how the white chocolate takes to food coloring.
Also am making my sandwich buns. They are in the first rise right now and I am pondering what shape to do.

BakerAunt, they never cover the important stuff!
I came close but missed it too.
I made Oatmeal Coconut cookie dough and Chewy Maple cookie dough. I portioned them out and froze them. I'll be baking them as needed.
I made baked ziti, purple cauliflower and carrot.

Tonight I had left over chicken, roasted sweet potato and orange cauliflower.I got it but it was just a guess.
That bread looks great, Mike.
I made a little pizza tonight.
I had pork roast, mashed sweet potato and brussel sprouts.
I guessed correctly but really didn't know.
Last night I made split chicken breasts and roasted potatoes. Small potatoes split in half, cut side dipped in duck fat and then placed in a hot cast iron skillet. Also a medley of orange cauliflower, baby carrot and really small brussels sprouts seasoned with sesame seed oil.
Yes, Mike, I can see doing things the old fashioned way has some advantages. That looks real good.
Determined to make knotted Kaiser style rolls, I watched a few videos and then went to work. I was going to make half of my buns Kaiser. After 2 attempts I decided there is a valid reason for owning the kaiser stamp. As you can see from the pic, they leave much to be desired as Kaiser buns. If you didn't know they were supposed to be, you might think they were something else. I decided to give up after 2 and made the rest regular. Making basket weave buns is easier even though I have to made 6 tiny ropes for each one.
