I baked a small pan of corn bread to go with stew.
We had leftover beef stew over fresh corn bread.

We had baked chicken, baked sweet potato and green beans.
We had grilled ham & cheese sandwich and chicken noodle soup.
I already had 10 pounds of flour but if I had a big freezer I'd bought more for sure.
I had to do some grocery shopping today Publix had KAF on sale buy one get one free so I got 10 pounds for $5.49 the best deal for me.
We had oyster stew for supper.
We had fried cubed pork & gravy, leftover rice, cooked one carrot with a half can of garden peas that was leftover.
We had hamburger steaks and fries.
I always buy store brand butter mostly from Target Good Gather it's been $2.79-$3.99 the last I bought was $4.69 ,I don't use any margarine.
My husband told me today the brownies was some of the best I've ever baked so that made me happy.
Thanks BakerAunt I'm looking into recipes or replacing oil for butter.
I baked a recipe of brownies from Allrecipes.com called Mmm mmm Better Brownies.I baked this one because it uses no butter but oil instead.It made an 8x8 pan and I was pleased with the results.Shiny top and they stayed soft after baked.I'm going to try Navlys recipe later but I'm low on butter and saving that.
I baked corn bread to go with stew tonight also.
We didn't have any trick or treaters.
Tonight we had beef stew with carrots, potatoes and onion , we had this on top of corn bread.
We had BBQ chicken in the pot with BBQ gravy over rice, leftover steamed cabbage and deviled eggs.
I had homemade pizza with sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, pickled peppers and black olives with cheese.My husband wanted scrambled eggs and sausage patty.
