I made chicken salad with rotisserie chicken and had that with crackers.
BA congrats on your photos and the bread looks wonderful!
Yesterday I had chicken pot pie.
I had lunch with a friend today so I just had a grilled cheese sandwich tonight.
Len your bread looks perfect!
I baked a Carrot cake today for the poker game tomorrow. The recipe I use calls for self rising flour. I had both my cannisters on the counter and realized before I added the flour so I got the baking powder and salt out to compensate and it looks like all is well.I had already added the cinnamon to the flour and didn't want to waste it.
Len your bread is beautiful!I don't have that book but may look into getting one.
I had a hamburger patty with potato salad.
BakerAunt I saw where y'all were having lots of snow, stay warm!
I had leftover Stromboli and salad.
Chocomouse that Chicken-broccoli braid looks great, never heard of it either.
Len on one of my baking sites I visit one lady said she'd had yeast frozen for years and years and never a problem so i keep mine in a glass jar with tight fitting lid .
Now I have a question to ask. When you make your pizza dough do you knead it like normal and let it rise or just stir it up? The recipe I've been using I've done both ways but I only use 1/4 tsp. of yeast and let it rise on the counter for several hours and it's always turned out.
Mike sorry to hear you have Covid, praying it won't be bad.
Tonight I had steak and salad.Still happy with the air fryer it cooked my steak in 7 minutes medium rare at 400*
Thanks for the comments on the Stromboli.I only had salami, and pepperoni and cheese so I doubled the layer of salami.Chocomouse the liver and onions sounds so good and especially that salad.
I watched the Super Bowl, happy with the Eagles and agree with Len on the commercials.Makes me wanna watch When Harry Met Sally again π
Aaron I always keep my yeast in the freezer and it never goes bad.I buy the the Active yeast like BA.When I use the yeast I put it straight from freezer into the water or milk and it always works.
Mike I hope you get to feeling better.
I baked a carrot cake for my neighbors.
Well wishes for you, Mike. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I had Stromboli salad. Never made it before so I think it turned out pretty good.
