Tonight we had Spanish rice,had a grocery run today and found everything we needed.

I made lima bean soup from leftovers.I cooked 3 chopped small carrots,one rib of celery and about a half cup of chopped onion with left over tomato gravy,a bouillon and some left over chicken stock till they were soft,then added leftover dry lima beans and leftover rice.Simmered for a little while was so good.Refrigerator is about cleaned out for another grocery shopping day .

I made Sloppy Joe's from scratch and burger buns,french fries for me and pork-n-beans for my husband.

I made Moomie's buns today and used buttermilk instead of water as BakerAunt does but mine was heavy and the bottoms browned too much,I forgot to raise my rack so that was my fault.I ate 2 and the trash got the rest...dang it.

I'm glad you all were OK from the storm.I saw lots of damage on the weather channel.We don't have a generator but they are so nice.My sisters daughter has the kind that when the power goes off it automatically comes on but runs on propane.My sister lives with them and she's on oxygen 24-7 so it's a blessing for her.Theirs was around 10,000.00.
