I boiled a large chicken breast,added some better than bouillon paste and shredded it when it was tender,saved half for another meal and added a small package of yellow rice and it was so good,we had green beans seasoned with smoked bacon.
We had sausage,fresh zipper peas and potato salad.
We have had an abundance of rain and it's rained off and on all day and the forecast next 3 or 4 days looks the same.
I made cinnamon rolls today and my oven worked fine...yay...but my dough didn't rise as well as it usually does but the taste was very good and I shared a small pan with our friends.I'll definitely be baking more now.
BakerAunt I haven't baked anything yet except nachos but I will maybe tomorrow.
Tonight we had loaded nachos so not really cooking but it sure was good and easy.

Today we had salmon patties,cheese grits and coleslaw.
The best thing for me today my husband got the oven element in and I'm one happy lady!Len it was a piece of cake to put in after he watched the video.

We had BLT's tonight with fries.
We went out tonight to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary to Texas Road House and all was excellent and when we got ready to pay a friend had already paid for us that wasn't expected but a very nice.

Tonight we had BBQ chicken in the pot with gravy over rice and green beans. I made another trip to see my sister and she's doing well.No covid in the home now but still not letting anyone inside,we sit and enjoy our time on the porch.
Tonight we had pork chops that I brined first,made a rub then put them on the smoker,when they were done I sprinkled with white vinegar smothered them in BBQ sauce then wrapped up in foil for 20 min and they were good and tender.I made fresh coleslaw and baked beans on top of the stove,it was all good.
We had leftover spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic toast and salad.
We had taco salad.

Len I want to thank you for the info on partselect.I got part ordered today and it should be here a a couple of days $96.26 and pray it all works.I miss my oven.I'm soon going to replace my cook top but for now it's Ok.
We went grocery shopping today so it was my easy supper...Hamburger steaks and fries.
