      Sourdough Bread 1
      1-cup sourdough starter
      1 1/2-cup warm water
      1 1/2-teaspoon salt
      1/2-cup white sugar
      1/2-cup oil
      6-cups bread flour
1.Mix sugar, oil, salt, water & one cup starter together in large bowl.Sift flour & add to mixture.Grease dough placed in bowl, cover & let rise overnight on counter.
2.Next day knead 10 minutes or till window pane test.Divide in half and place in 2- 8x4 greased loaf pans.Let rise till over top of pan.
3.Bake at 350* for 40 -45 minutes or till golden brown.

I use my own starter and all purpose flour and have subbed one cup of whole wheat and always have good results with this recipe.I usually only do half a recipe.Mine usually is done in 35 40 minutes and when it comes out of oven I brush with butter for a softer crust.
