Chef Michel Suas, founder and president of the San Francisco Baking Institute, was one of the winners at the James Beard Awards this week, named Best Baker along with his partner at B. Patisserie, Belinda Leong.
The cookbook awards for 2018 are also out. One of the nominees in the ‘single subject’ category looks interesting, it’s a 300 page treatise on Stocks and Broths.
