Last night we had hamburger vegetable soup with fresh pimento cheese sandwiches, tonight we had a beef sirloin tip roast cooked with golden mushroom gravy & onion, rice, white acre peas & cream 40's cooked together with boiled okra on top, slice tomatoes, deviled eggs, corn bread and fresh blueberry cobbler. We had to get a new washing machine and my brother & sister in law went with us to get it and helped install it for us as my husband can't do any heavy lifting. So the big meal today was a thank you for all their help.I love my new Speed Queen washer.

Sonny wanted a steak and baked potato so that's what we had. We've been buying chuck eye steaks and they are tender and very good and half the price of a rib eye these were $8.99 a lb. and were about 8 oz. each we shared one and had plenty with a big baked potato. And I love love love my new stove top!

Thanks for the prayers. We got the biopsy today and still one more test MRI on the 31st. then we meet with the oncologist to see what they have decided and our options. His feet and legs are swelling with water and getting cellulitis battling that with keeping his legs elevated as much as possible. He said that place on the backside is starting to be painful and he says when he takes a deep breath his chest hurts. It's so sad to see him in such a weakened condition.
