Mike I don't throw away my starter and it's always worked well for me,too wasteful to throw it out.

When we were grocery shopping in Publix yesterday they had KAF whole wheat in 5#bags for $4.15.All other flours were out.
I knew this too.
Tonight I fried cubed venison steak,steamed cabbage and macaroni and cheese,I also made a pistachio fluff or Watergate Salad as some call it,it was easy and good.
Missed it.
Tonight we had leftover lima beans, fresh potato salad and sausages.
