We went to Guppy's in Indian Rocks (BA you probably have been there) and I had Caesar salad with raw tuna sashimi. My husband had the swordfish wrapped in bacon. Our friends strongly suggested the lobstercargot with lots of butter. I couldn't go there.

When I was in college one of the favorite discussion topics among the engineering majors was what would happen if a tornado hit the John Hancock building in Chicago. (Engineers have strange discussions, we also wondered how hard the Jolly Green Giant would have to push on the John Hancock building to push it over. You may be surprised to know there are equations to deal with that, they're part of the wind sheer load tests engineers make on building plans.)

Here's what happens when a tornado hits one of those big wind turbines:

Thanks for sharing the video Mike, that's scary! So much wind force!I have seen one smaller and away from us but his one you shared is so up close amazing!

Tonight I had more BBQ pulled pork on flour tortillas with sliced tomatoes.

I've always wondered about wind turbines in a tornado. Thanks for posting, Mike.

I roasted and processed my last pumpkin on Thursday. For dinner, to go with the remaining pork, I roasted potato and carrot chunks. We also had microwaved frozen peas and applesauce thawed from the freezer.

I had cheese toast on English muffin bread. I took something out of the freezer, but it hadn't thawed in time. I was busy making curried chicken salad for our church's annual house tour (they serve tea in the parish hall)

I used a small spaghetti squash, the last of those I bought in the autumn, to make a small Spaghetti Squash Lasagna for dinner on Friday. There is enough for one more meal. We had it with the last of the bag of peas from the freezer. We had planned to do our big grocery shopping run to the county seat today, but with winds at 40 mph for much of the day, we decided to postpone it.

We had rotisserie chicken for supper, the bones are in the stockpot and the remaining meat is in the fridge, and tomorrow I will make a Chicken Pot Pie for Pi Day.

I made salmon balls (from canned salmon). I grated in some fresh ginger and baked them. They came out pretty good. Had it with mashed potato and sugar snap peas and cauliflower.

I made Roman Chickpea Stew -- more or less from Unabridged Vegetable Cookbook. Its suppose to be olive oil, anchovies, fresh parsley, garlic, tomatoes and chickpeas. I added in an onion and crushed red pepper, possibly too much red pepper, and had to use dried parsley. Oops forgot the rosemary, will go add it now.

Took beef bourguinon out of the freezer that I made a month ago. That and some garlic bread will be dinner.

I made a pizza Pi. The dough was made about a week ago, I had it in the freezer.

That's a great Pizza Pi, Len!

                                We repeated last night's dinner.
