Tonight we had Beef stew on top of corn bread.
Tonight I pan fried some cubed pork,candied sweet potatoes and green beans,cobbler for dessert.
Pear cobbler is in the oven.
I marinated boneless chicken breasts in Italian dressing,char grilled them on iron griddle,fresh peas and macaroni and cheese,had some pears ripening so I cooked them some and have a pear cobbler in the oven.
We had sausage,eggs,rice and grilled toast on this rainy day.Not complaining for so many people have had awful flooding from the storms.
We had oyster stew today.
Always keep quick fix meal Taco salad is one I can get done in 20 minutes.

I went for a visit with my sister.We sat on the porch of the home and enjoyed the short visit.Took her cookies,a piece of coconut pie and candies and she was one happy lady.Covid is in the home but they are monitoring them very good and when one is positive for covid they are put on an isolated wing from the rest.Keeping my fingers crossed for her.She looked very good.Thanks to all for your prayers.

I baked a batch of lemon sugar cookies to take to my sister tomorrow, supposedly we'll get to visit on the porch of the nursing home.
I pan fried us a hamburger patty,mashed sour cream potatoes and cooked carrots with sliced tomatoes.

I made chicken and dumplings and green beans.The dumplings were OK to me but my husband didn't like them he thought they were too thick.I knew before I made them he wasn't going to like them,he found a recipe he wanted me to use.
Thanks for the well wishes for my sister,she seems to be doing better.
I had one pie crust that had been in the freezer along time so I made a coconut pie and it turned out well.
