I used half of the hamburger to make a small pot of chili for later on maybe tomorrow. My husband isn't crazy about chili unless it's cold outside so it might be mine if so I'll freeze it in small containers for the freezer.

Tonight we had chargrilled chicken, macaroni and tomatoes, cooked carrots and I used leftover lettuce tomato and cheese from last nights taco salad to make a side salad tonight.

BakerAunt and Cwcdesign I'm gonna try roasting some beets if I can find some fresh ones.
My pumpkin pie turned out well,good flavor , no cracking and my pie crust was crispy and flaky on the bottom...win win.
I had a little leftover filling so I filled 2 custard cups and baked them along with the pie.
Tonight we had chargrilled chicken breast that I pound out flat and marinated in Italian dressing, mashed potatoes and creamed corn and pumpkin pie for dessert.
BakerAunt I never liked beets growing up but as an adult I loved them.My mom use to make them a lot and when she'd open a can I'd say they smelled like dirt.I like to keep some in the fridge.I've never roasted any fresh ones only boiled them.
BakerAunt the beets were from a can but I cook them with sugar and vinegar.I haven't had fresh beets in a long time.
I made a pumpkin pie today that I've made before from KAF suppose to let filling set overnight but I've made it before when pressed for time and it was fine.It's in the oven now.
I need to make more pie crusts now as I used my last one.
Visited with my friend today she's going through Chemo treatments and they were thankful for the cinnamon rolls.
Chocomouse the chocolate zucchini cake sounds so good!
Today I made cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. I made 2 -8 inch pans with 9 in each .I will take one pan to a friend I'll be visiting tomorrow.The rolls turned out very nice I added an extra egg and a little potato flakes.We had two after supper.
