I had all leftovers of beef stew over rice.
Tonight I made a stir fry with hamburger my husbands suggestion and it was pretty good. I used carrots, celery ,onion, a variety of green, yellow and red peppers and mushrooms. I added the rice and soy sauce and it was tasty. With that we had bread and butter.
Tonight we had chargrilled chicken,potatoes with a cream sauce over them and leftover carrots that I added a half can of garden peas.

My one layer chocolate cake is baked in 8" round pan and when baked it stays nice and flat on top.
'Lil' Chocolate cake
1-cup a.p. flour
1-cup sugar
1-cup hot water ( I use 1 cup hot black coffee)
1/2-cup cocoa Hershey's
1-tsp.baking powder
1-tsp.baking soda
1-egg
1/4-cup melted butter
1.Preheat oven to 350* grease and flour 8" baking pan
2.In medium bowl combine 1st.6 ingredients
3.Add egg and butter mix well
4.Pour in pan-Bake 30-35 minutes or till toothpick test done.Cool
This is my favorite chocolate cake recipe.I usually put all dry ingredients in bowl mix with whip then add coffee and butter and egg.It's a very thin batter but bakes up very nice. No mixer needed just use whisk.
We had oyster stew.
I baked the one layer chocolate cake today and turned leftover cream cheese icing into chocolate icing.That'll be our snack tonight.
Tonight we had chargrilled chicken breast,macaroni and cheese and green beans,I made a chocolate cake and had some cream cheese icing from last cinnamon rolls so I added cocoa to that with a dab of milk,butter and a little more powder sugar and we have icing...lol.
Today we had fried cubed pork,rice and gravy with cooked carrots.
I visited with a friend today so we had spaghetti and meat sauce from the freezer and garlic toast with a side salad.
Today I cooked a chicken breast on top of stove with BBQ sauce for gravy that we had over rice and creamed corn.
I second what Len said ,looks great Mike.I've seen these but never made one myself.
I used leftovers of lima beans, added to that to make lima bean soup...good and easy.
Tonight we had Taco Salad and Happy Anniversary to you Mike and Mrs.Nolan.
