I made a small pork roast yesterday. Leftovers today.

Today before I braved the outside for snow removal duties, I made brownies from a box mix (Ghirardelli's). I subbed half the oil with Greek yogurt, doubled the water to 1/2 cup and added a half cup of oats to it. That's how I usually do it, it has the texture of a cake when done like that, and since it has oats I tell myself it's now a health food. When I came back in the house, it smelled like chocolate heaven. Then I baked a batch of burger buns using part whole wheat and rye.

Yesterday I made a batch of meatballs and made a meatball pizza. The rest of them are in the freezer. Today I made a hamburger, mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Spatchcock chicken and turkey is my go to way for roasting them. It eliminates the problem of the cavity and both sides can be evenly seasoned. If you like stuffing the bird, you can still spatchcock it, put the stuffing in the roasting pan and the bird on top of it.

Yesterday I made a very thin crust pizza. I normally add some whole wheat and rye to my pizza dough (about 40% total, give or take) but I have some KAF Italian style flour that is a little past it's best by date, so I'm making a push to use it up and used 100% that. The dough from that flour can be rolled out really thin. I topped it with some left over roast beef and thin sliced onion. It came out pretty good.

Today I will have the last of my left over roast beef with mashed redskins and broccoli.

Maybe skip the bottom crust and just use the top crust. Or use the bottom crust and loosely cover the top with foil.

I've done it. If a recipe calls for 2 eggs, I'd substitute it for one of the eggs. It's way of getting more fiber in your baking.

I use half sheet pans for cookies.

I have 2 streaming devices (Roku and Amazon Fire Stick) as well as one smart TV. The streaming devices are better than the smart TV as it provides more apps. The Roku and Fire Stick are almost six of one and a half dozen of the other but the Fire Stick gets the edge. It offers apps like CBS (requires a fee), NBC and ABC both include live streaming for no fee, and it has 2 web browsers. So, you can visit some of your fav internet sites that way (it's not exactly a substitute for a computer and some sites show better on it than others). The Fire Stick is definitely optimized for Amazon Prime but you can view Amazon Prime easily on a smart TV and Roku. Roku has a 3 Stooges app that Fire Stick doesn't have, so there are differences. I have a TV that I don't use often and it's not connected to cable and the antenna reception is not good at all. So, when Amazon Prime day came around I saw the Fire Stick for half price ($20) I bought it for that TV. I'm glad I did. Since I got streaming devices, I've been watching a lot more on YouTube. There's all kinds of stuff there.

BakerAunt, with an Amazon Fire Stick you can stream ABC, including live content, for no charge.

Maybe pour it down the drain slowly as you run the faucet full open to dilute it.
