Happy you can see your sister. Big time lockdowns today at my mother's nursing home. My visiting with her has been curtailed due to delta. Sigh

Janiebakes, what lovely dresses! I sew very little but whatever you did, french seams and all, came out beautiful!! I'm sure the french seams were NECESSARY for the overall outcome. Great job!

Covid found in white tail deer!

I used to see a lot of deer in my yard and surrounding area. Wasting disease is killing them. Awful.

Just made my husband a hotdog. Today I'm prepping for a colonoscopy tomorrow. I was supposed to get one 10 yrs after the last one and it's been 12 years. The doctor snagged me, darn it.
This is the last one I'm doing!

Thanks, Joan. Yeah, until you're a caregiver you have no clue. My bro and sil took mom for 12 days in April and called me constantly. They lived my life for 12 days out of the 3.5 years I took care of mom. My brother said he didn't know how I did it. My mantra is keep paddling and take 1 day at a time. And pray you live 1 day longer than the people you have to care for.
