No cooking here tonight I was out with friends and my sister in law, all classmates and we ate at Olive Garden, salad was good food not so much but the friends one I'd not seen in 50 plus years and all the talking and laughing was good for the soul!

Ya'll I was so proud of my granddaughter when I went to Texas, she had gotten some sourdough starter from a friend and made her first sourdough while I was with her and it was a boule .It was good looking for her first and since she's sent me photos of them and they look wonderful and she's so proud of herself too! She sent me a photo of a grilled cheese sandwich she made with her sourdough and made fresh tomato soup to go with it. Yes my heart is full seeing her learning to bake more and she's a good cook too! Happy Nanny here!

Ya'll I have been a busy gal lately.I had a wonderful time in Texas, got to meet my great granddaughter and she was amazing!My family treated me with so much love I was on cloud nine!I got to celebrate a Greek Easter with a whole lamb roasted over a spit I had seen that in NJ before.I spent all of my time with my granddaughter and other grandchildren at my son's ex wife's there is no ex's with me , I love her dearly!Everything was homemade except the pita bread .
Now back to the real world I had a steak and a salad tonight.
I had over easy eggs on top of fried toast, trying to use up stuff in refrigerator.

I had a grilled cheese and yogurt with celery sticks and ranch. Trying to clean out the fridge I'll be going to Texas Thursday morning and will be gone 9th-14th.can't wait to get my hands on the great grandbaby!

I had rotisserie chicken on flour tortillas with fruit .
Kimbob I put the photo of the cut cake on the wrong place grr, but you can see it's pretty and very moist. the picture does not do it justice it flipped on the plate .
I baked a coffee cake for my little sister, she's really my niece.
Kimbob the Pistachio Pineapple cake was delicious and I will make this many times.The green color is pretty for Easter too!
