I read that recipe Mike and 400* seems like a high temp.
I have a question..do you ever use bread flour when a recipe calls for ap?
Last night we had fried chicken, rice and gravy with thickened potatoes,yep my husband wanted two starches.
Tonight I'm frying cubed pork, fried okra and macaroni and cheese.Apple crisp is in the oven.
I took some beef roast and gravy from freezer, made some mashed potatoes, garden peas and deviled eggs.
No cooking here tonight we had Mexican from local restaurant.
Tonight my husband wanted hamburger and tomatoes seasoned to eat on top of mashed potatoes,not me I had a hamburger.

Last night I made taco salad, tonight we had the last of the turkey in a pot pie and a green salad with the left over taco salad fixings.
Len I thought about making me some pumpkin cinnamon rolls but was scared I wouldn't like them,Mike I've never used the tangzhong method on anything but have studied it.
I have a question how much liquid milk will I replace for 3 TBSP. of of dry milk powder? I thought it would be about 3/4 cup liquid milk the recipe calls for 1 cup water so would I do 3/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup water?
I was thinking of making the soft butter rolls by Jeffery Hamelman you talked about Mike but I don't have dry milk?Believe me I get my share lol!Yes I ate 3!Last one this morning with my coffee!
