BakerAunt you've been busy!
Today I baked a half pineapple cake mix that I bought by mistake,so I added in half a box of white chocolate pudding ,replaced the water with pineapple juice, cake mix calls for 3 eggs if whole box so I added 2 eggs and about 1/4 cup of oil.Baked up nice in a 8x8 pan and I topped it with cream of coconut after it came out of oven and I poked small holes all over top so it could seep in,after it cooled awhile I topped with cool whip with a little coconut extract and sprinkled coconut in the cool whip and lightly on top looks pretty but we'll see how it tastes in a bit.
Yes Cwcdesign I'd like the recipe,I Googled it and came up with three recipes.
Tonight we had hamburger steaks and fries.
Cwcdesign sure hope you're feeling better!I hope Will likes Dallas and I know you are gonna miss him lots!Congratulations on Nathaniel's engagement too!
The chicken dish sounds great!
Yep,we've all had some of them.
We had deer sausage, cooked cabbage and scalloped potatoes.
I made chili out of the leftover Philly steak meat it was good but my husband didn't eat any,he had soup from a can.I put the leftover chili in the freezer.
We had pork chops that I pan fried then made onion gravy and poured over chops then baked in oven awhile,. they were so tender, with that we had rice, buttermilk biscuits and I heated a can of okra, corn & tomatoes.
I bought a scale but I don't use it much, seems like more trouble to me.
We had chargrilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes and green beans.
I made the other half of the cake mix (lemon supreme) that my husband likes in a loaf pan and had the leftover icing lemon juice with powder sugar that I had refrigerated from last time so it all went fast.
We had spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic toast.
We had a breakfast for supper..Bacon,grits and eggs and I had one of the cheese muffins with mine.
I made the Kielbasa in tomato sauce over rice and with that I made a new recipe of cheese muffins and they were really good with sharp cheddar, and I didn't have grated parm so I shredded a little provolone ,made half the recipe and got 7 large muffins .Reminded me of the biscuits from Red Lobster but in muffin form.I posted the recipe site in the baking post.Click on the photo.
I made these today but did half a recipe and got 7 nice muffins,I didnât have a green onion so I grated about a tablespoon of sweet onion and for the smaller amount of cheese I subbed provolone for grated parmesan .They are wonderful.
Happy Birthday Cwcdesign.Wishing you a great day and it sounds like it's been a nice one!
