Prayers sent for Diane,hope she gets to feeling better soon.
We did our grocery shopping today so we went to Texas Road House for supper,perfectly cooked med.rare filet using one of the gift cards we got for Christmas.
We had leftover beef roast with mushroom & onion gravy, green lima beans and rice.
Chocomouse Happy Birthday to your hubby and pie looks good, I know he's happy!

Tonight we had chargrilled chicken breast, I had a half can of garden peas cut up two carrots and cooked then added them to the peas and with that we had sour cream mashed potatoes.
Happy New Year everyone! I broke tradition and didn't cook any black eyed peas...we had pulled pork, baked beans and coleslaw.
I've got two pans of Banana bread in the oven.I'll give one to my sis in law that lives by us.

Our son remarried two weeks ago and he and wife flew to Virginia to see her folks for Christmas.When they arrived in Richmond her luggage was missing.They were there 5 or 6 days it never came had to layover an extra day to go home.At the airport in Virginia they said her luggage was in Dallas, they were happy since they were going home...when they arrived in Dallas she went to get her bag and wouldn't you know it was sent that morning to Richmond.

Tonight we had roast with gravy, I added onions and mushrooms, rice and green lima beans & had enough for one more meal.

Nice looking pound cake Mike , that's basically the same recipe I use except mine uses 8 oz.sour cream or cream cheese in place of milk.I like the long pan.

I'm a day late had a great day yesterday.Just my husband and me but we had friends drop in and had a great visit
We have had some of the coldest weather we've had in along time, y'all can keep all that snow and cold brrr.
I hope each and all had a Merry Christmas , we have been greatly blessed.
