Tonight we had BBQ chicken in the pot with onion and I had a gravy with BBQ sauce over it to go with leftover rice,creamed corn and I pan fried some sliced okra in an iron skillet in some bacon grease no beading and it was all so good.

Tonight we had breakfast for supper -pan fried sausage, grits, scrambled eggs and toast.
I made spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic toast.Always make enough I can freeze half for another meal.
We've had two or three showers today,nice!
We had fried chicken ,thickened potatoes in a cream sauce and leftover stewed squash.

We had hamburger steaks with fries.Thankful we got a really nice rain today .
My apple pie was delicious and the crust was flaky and a nice golden brown on the top and bottom, I baked it in a deep dish tin foil pan.I am pleased.
Mike your cinnamon rolls look nice,I've never tried that frosting.

I got my last two pie crusts out of the freezer last night and defrosted them in the fridge and today I made an apple pie looks good but we won't cut it till tomorrow.I had bought some green apples from the vegetable stand down the road from us they had them reduced to 25 cents each I think I used about 6 or 7 for the pie.

I cooked beef stew with potatoes,carrots and onions we had this on top of corn bread.
We had grocery shopping today so we went by the seafood market and got some oysters for stew, so good but high cost of $24.69 for a pint.

It's hot here too!Yesterday we had sandwiches and my husband had a can of soup with his.Today I pan fried a chicken breast almost done then cut it in strips and placed in a roasting pan with a can of cream of chicken soup to go over that for gravy.That baked about 45 minutes and we had it over rice,I fried fresh okra and we had the best sliced tomatoes we've had this summer.
We had hotdogs split open and fried to get a crisp burn from the griddle that made a good slaw dog and fries to go with it.
