Expired dates don't bother me either., I have some very old spices too.If I open a can and it spews I toss it or it's bent badly.
I went to my friends today and her daughter made us smoked chicken and sausage, coleslaw, baked beans ,bacon wrapped stuffed with cream cheese jalapenos and rolls.It was delicious.
I had chicken and rice leftovers.

I had a hotdog and chips.
I baked two loaves of banana bread today, gave one to my sister in law.
I had a steak and a baked potato.
I had grilled cheese sandwich and cottage cheese with pineapple.
I got another rotisserie chicken and had that with corn on the cob.
I made chicken broth from rotisserie chicken bones added some seasonings then added a couple carrots, celery and a box of flavored chicken rice sorta like rice a roni, it turned out really good I had a lot of chicken left which I added in. This will be for several meals this week.
