I hate ticks and sometimes they are very small they even can be blown by the wind.A very good way to get it off is to put a drop of Dawn or any soap on it and rub it around with a Q-tip and you can easily pull the tick off.

Glad you went on to the doctor BakerAunt.

Today I'm eating leftovers from the weekend and Memorial day .I haven't been keeping up with everything from being so busy with my house guests and going back and forth everyday to my friends and families place which is about 30 minutes from me but we were there everyday from around lunch till after 11 pm every night, lots of fun but tiring. I hope you each had a good weekend.Thankful for the ones who gave their lives so we can live in a free country.

Len I love these pickles and they keep for weeks in the fridge.

I made some refrigerator pickles yesterday so good and easy.
7-cups sliced cucumbers thin(I peeled mine)
                          1-large onion sliced thin
1-bell pepper sliced thin in long strips
Mix all together and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of salt place in colander and let drain 1-hour
                          In small pot heat
2 cups sugar (I did a little less)
1-cup brown vinegar I used white
                          1-tsp celery seed
1-tsp mustard seed ( I didn't have any and they are very good without.)
Bring to a boil and pour over cucumbers cool and refrigerate,so good they're ready to eat in no time and keeps very well for several weeks.

I have friends coming in Friday for a couple of days and am more busy than I want to be but I love it and them. We're going down to my family and friends for the weekend.
