I baked a small pan of corn bread to go with beef stew.

We had hamburgers that I smoked yesterday and we had fries with them.

We have three humming bird feeders that they have been lots and lots everyday.We have cardinals,blue jay,blue birds,brown thrashers and sparrows and occasionally wood peckers and woodcocks,doves and quail.We spotted a big owl one day sitting by a bush in the yard and I love to see hawks.We keep binoculars handy to watch.We do alot of front porch sitting early and off and on all day.Mothers's Day I saw a big beautiful deer across the road walking the fence line.It's amazing what you will see if you just take the time to look.

I fired up the grill and smoked a half chicken and 4 hamburger patties.We had BBQ smoke chicken,baked beans and a baked sweet potato.Hamburgers for later on.

Tonight we had Mexican casserole with bread-n-butter.

They all look delicious but I do love lemon.

Tonight I cooked some fresh sausage ,red potatoes with a thickened sauce over them and leftover green butter beans,buttermilk biscuits.

I baked buttermilk biscuits today.I haven't been in a baking mood either.

We had fried pork chops,macaroni and cheese and fried okra.

I visited my sister today so I had an easy meal of hamburger steaks and fries.

I cooked a chargrilled chicken breast,squash casserole from leftover squash,green lima beans and and a box of stuffing that I doctored up with onion,celery,chicken stock from roasted chicken added a can of cream of chicken soup and a few slices of dry bread.I had cranberry sauce which is the only good part of that stuffing.We ate the stuffing but it isn't corn bread dressing as we're use to.My husband said he'd eat it just because but please don't fix that anymore.I agree.But we got full.That's my first and last Stove top stuffing.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms ,I had a wonderful one and still miss her.

We had leftover stew beef with gravy over rice and I boiled some fresh okra.I got the best watermelon at a local stand up the road from us, delicious.

Tonight was leftover spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread.
