Joan, I'm sorry you had difficulty, but it looks great. I love carrot cake, I'm going to have to buy one soon, maybe just a slice.
BA, you might consider setting a trap. There's a guy on YouTube, Shawn Woods, who tests mouse and rat traps (he has thousands) but I think some of them can be applied to chipmunks as well. I'm thinking about a trap called the Dizzy Dunker. It can be used as a kill or a live catch trap. You need to supple your own bucket. It consists of a ramp (so the critter can climb up) and a dunking device that fits on top of the bucket. You bait the wheel of the dunker, the critter climbs up and steps on the wheel to get the bait and then gets dunked to the bottom of the bucket. You can have water in the bucket for a kill trap or no water for a live catch trap.
You can get the device on Amazon, he has a link to it on his channel.
I made beef tostadas and had a salad with it.
That's a great looking pie, Joan!
I made a batch of burger/sandwich buns today.
Navlys, you've inspired me to make a stir fry tonight. I have some rotisserie chicken left and was undecided how to have it tonight. I have the veggies chopped up (carrot, onion, kale and broccoli and a little garlic), the chicken is off the bones and cut up, just have to do the cooking now. I'm thinking a little angel hair pasta with it.
I bought a rotisserie chicken, for dinner I made a chicken sandwich, green beans and carrots.
Thank you , ItalianCook. I used a "Pizza Blend" from Whole Foods 365 brand, which consists of Part Skim Mozzarella, unsmoked Provolone and Asiago. I used half the package, 4 ounces.
Tonight's dinner will be a repeat.
Thanks, Joan.
Let's not forget some cold, crispy dill pickles on that picnic menu.
I made a pizza. Tonight's dough formula was 100 grams each of semolina and white whole wheat and 50 grams of AP. 1/2 tsp of yeast, 1 tsp of sugar, 170 grams of water and a splash of olive oil. That's enough dough for 2 pizzas. The dough was easy to handle, rolled it out with no snap back. The pizza came out great, thin, somewhat crispy and chewy.
The meat topping is pork tenderloin. I also had a small salad.

I had a pork sandwich on a fresh baked bun with green beans and carrots.
Mmmm, I love carrot cake!

That's a fine looking pie, Joan. I've been wanting to make one for a while but I haven't got around to it.
A little girl scout from across the street rang my doorbell with her cookies in tow. Her older brother accompanied her, he must have been about 10 years old. He wasn't impressed with her sales pitch so he said to her, "Do it this way, I know how to sell because I've been doing it for a LONG time!" An old timer already at 10 years, it cracked me up!
I like the fried pork skins so if I could find a Chicharrón that size I would try it. But I would build it a little different, I would lay slices of mozzarella on it first, then sauce and toppings. I want to make sure it stays crispy and crunchy.
Here's a different take on Keto friendly pizza crust, Chicharrón Pizza
