Sounds delicious, Joan.
Hamburger yesterday and tuna sandwich today.
Moderation in everything is the key.
My nephew uses it in cooking instead of oil or lard. Supposed to be healthy. He ordered half a steering from the butcher and asked for all the fat. He rendered it all into tallow. He's got more energy than me! 😆
I hate the heat. 97? Ugh. It was cold here today and a few flurries. Supposed to be 67 by Thursday.
Hi, Navlys. I have never used it but my nephew made soap with it and sent me some. Very soothing and makes your skin soft. I'll ask him if he does anything else with it.
I googled what to do with beef tallow and it says it has a high smoking point and you can sear steaks, use it in biscuits, saute stuff, etc. Let us know what you do with it.
Either a hamburger, grilled cheese or chicken tenders. I can't stand all the excitement in deciding! Lol
Making moomie's hamburger buns today.
Thanks, Len. Yeah, beer really ups the flavor. Having the last slice of leftover pizza tonight. I should make pizza next weekend using g beer in the crust. Thanks for the idea.
What are you doing with all of them? They look great!
Not by you, thankfully. It's such a shame that so much of nature is burning and the wildlife has nowhere to go.
Idk how but it worked. Technology! Ugh at times
Thanks cwcdesign and BA. Another one down the drain.
Dinner was great yesterday. My friend's took me to Savona's Trattoria in Poughkeepsie for my bd. I didn't want anything with red sauce so ordered a gorgonzola pear pizza. It had gorgonzola, pears, bacon, ricotta and hot honey. So delicious. There was also a fig gorgonzola pizza that looked good -- next time. One friend got a broccoli rabe Italian sausage pizza and the other zuppa pescatore. Because it was my bd the waiter brought us 3 glasses of prosecco and for dessert a chocolate lava cake topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and 3 spoons. Heaven!
Today I'm eating leftover chicken paprikas and nokedli.
