Last night I had a hotdog with sauerkraut and peaches and cottage cheese.Tonight I had Dairy Queen hamburger and fries.
I went to my friends today and her daughter cooked us supper on the black stone griddle. We had chicken bites, steak bites and potatoes with peppers and onions and a side of mushrooms. I baked another coconut pie to take for dessert.
Len one night I was making oyster stew for my husband and I was puzzling at the table, the next thing I knew half of the milk for the stew had ran over on my stove top and was running off the counter. dang it I was mad at myself and had a mess to clean up ..yep I know all about the milk boiling over.
I had to make pie crusts today and made another coconut pie to take to my friends for supper today.All went well!

I made a coconut pie to take to our poker game tonight.My piecrust wouldn't roll our right for me today I wadded it up twice to re roll and thought it was a little dry so I wet my hands under water and smashed it together and rolled it between parchment paper and cling wrap, it worked like a charm.I was really frustrated but the pie was good and the crust was fine.
I had a Healthy Choice sweet sesame chicken dinner and cottage cheese and peaches.
A chef salad with chicken and lots of blue cheese, crackers, peaches and cottage cheese.
Y'all we got 12 inches of rain in our county,roads are washed out it's a mess.Thankful where I am is alright but many people are stuck at home and driveways are washed out.Thankful we're not suppose to get anymore rain for about a week.Dirt roads looked like rivers moving swift. Never saw it here like this.

The link above is for a cake I baked yesterday and it was very good. The recipe has cream cheese in it and I baked it in a 9x13 pan and used it to make 2 trifle desserts to take to friends. I had to bake longer than it said by like 20 more minutes but the cake is really good and like a pound cake. I layered cake cubes in the bottom topped with vanilla pudding mixed with some cool whip, then another layer of cake and strawberries the kind that sugar is added in the frozen section I added them to a pot with 1/2 cup of water and some strawberry jam and brought to boil and thickened with some cornstarch it made a nice jel then topped that with a layer of cool whip. This made a great dessert and a very pretty trifle.Yesterday I had rotisserie chicken and vegetables today I had a hamburger and chips,baked beans and potato salad.
