Mike I worked at our high school lunchroom for 10 years and we always had cinnamon rolls with chili and corn bread.That was set in stone :).
Tonight I got some ham out of the freezer,made a pot of pinto beans with onions,a little garlic,chili powder,paprika a spoonful of brown sugar and a little and a dash of cayenne cooked with a ham bone,some Italian green beans and macaroni and tomatoes.

I made BBQ out of left over pork tenderloin and fries tonight.

Supper for us was BBQ chicken in the pot with BBQ gravy to go over rice and garden pea salad.

No cooking here today,more of the Brunswick Stew.Broke tradition ....no blackeyed peas for New Years day.

Merry Christmas from South Ga. We've been in the 50's here today nice and breezy.Enjoying our son and just relaxing all day.Made a good Christmas dinner and had family drop in off and on everyday.
December 24, 2017 at 7:04 pm in reply to: What are You Cooking the Week of December 24, 2017? #10368I baked a turkey breast to go with dressing for tomorrow,I made ambrosia with apples,oranges.crushed pineapple,cherries,rum soaked raisins,coconut and finely chopped pecans a little sugar and that's it.I've got greens out of the freezer ready to heat up,dressing is made in the fridge.Trying to do all I can today for tomorrow.
Baked the pumpkin pie today,looks nice but taste is more important and I did the no no today didn't take time to make pie shells and used bought one and life goes on.
