Thanks for the comments on the cinnamon rolls they went over well tonight.

Chocomouse glad your husband is getting some cinnamon rolls soon tell him I said you're welcome!

Italiancook the icing on my rolls was cream cheese and the recipe for chess pie calls for flour or corn meal and flour .I'm posting the recipe from Mennonite Girls Can Cook .It's a great recipe.I just use flour.

I baked 2 pans of Cinnamon rolls, one for the poker game and one for my sister in law. They turned out good.I haven't baked them in a long time.I usually add mashed potatoes or potato flakes and I forgot them. When I got the dough mixed I couldn't get the dang bowl to release. About had a fight with it and finally got the WD 40 and it came loose, I'm sure it was my fault. Y'all have a good night .

Thanks about my dishes, I have always loved them.I have 4 plates, 6 salad plates, 4 bowls ,5 saucers, a platter, 2 vegetable bowls left.Green is my favorite color and I've always loved daisies.I've looked and found some on them sites but never got the replacements.I have too many dishes if I ever get anymore they will be Correlle.

Today I bought another rotisserie chicken and made more chicken salad.I think I might start clucking eating so much chicken .

I guess that's why some bread recipes have said add a vitamin c tablet.

Cwcdesign that galette sounds mighty fine.My cousin makes a tomato pie similar to that I've never tried it or a galette, another thing on my list to try.

I had rotisserie chicken tonight with some of the blueberry yum yum for dessert.I made the blueberry dessert to take to my friends Saturday we had a fish fry and it was all so good.

The weather here is so hot and feels like a oven.Thunderstorms are coming this afternoon and we need the rain.Peoples gardens and field crops are drying up.

They are so cute.My sister in law had one from a baby that was given to her from a zoo.It was raised in the house and would use a litter box like a cat. This was back in the 60's.She said it would ride in the car on the back seat under the glass and people thought it was fake.It eventually would go off and return then one day it was gone for good.
Several years ago she found another one and called a vet about getting shots , they told her to call Fish and game and they came to get it.My husband walked down to her house when they came and as the guy had the fox in a cage my husband said did you tell him about the alligator? That warden whirled around and said you got a gator too? We all got a good laugh, the game warden didn't think it was funny πŸ™‚ And yes they found a baby gator when they were kids with their Granddaddy it had 3 legs and they brought it home and put it in their bath tub , when my husbands mother got home from work and saw the baby gator she had a fit and it went back to the pond.
