Merry Christmas to you all!Just the two of us also very quiet and peaceful day.Lots of remembering times of our past.We've had some of the coldest weather we've had.It was 29* this morning.Ya'll can keep all that snow because we don't want it.It's only snowed here a few times in my life.
Mike your sweet potato pie and wifes trifle looked very good.
Tonight we had BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw and baked beans.
I made two loaves of banana bread today one to my SIL that lives next to me.
I used leftovers and made lima bean soup with that we had a grilled bologna and cheese sandwich.

My husband wanted Oyster stew so that's what we had tonight.

Today I baked two lemon supreme pound cakes from the Duncan Hines box,one for a neighbor and one for a friend down the road.
We had leftover chili and I made home cut fries to go with it.
Today I baked BakerAunts Scottish Shortbread cookies.I didn't have bleached flour but they turned out good.I think I might have made them a little thick as they aren't as crisp as I thought they would be even baking an extra 10 minutes but they taste fine.Might even get more crisp as they set up.
I heated some of the roast-n-gravy from the freezer,we had that with mashed potatoes on top of toast,easy.
I don't know what I'm doing for Christmas either as it's just the two of us also.

Tonight we had leftover green beans,sliced tomatoes,macaroni and cheese and a baked sweet potato.
I baked a loaf of KAF Cinnamon bread and one of The Classic Sandwich Bread.I used the tangzhong method for both loaves.The sandwich bread I used 2 cups white and 1 cup whole wheat.It had a good rise and was fast,it was a little over 4 inches baked in a 8 1/2 x 4 1/2.The cinnamon bread was very heavy in the mixing bowl I had to add more water than called for I even took part of the egg wash and put half that in to make it right.It had a good rise also this loaf was close to 5 inches high and I had a little of a pulling apart on the side.I made these for a friend so I won't even know how they taste or look inside,I'm feeling brave tonight lol.
