We had roast beef and gravy from the freezer had that over mashed potatoes and black eyed peas.I had bought some frozen sliced peaches for a cobbler but after defrosting they are hard and not much flavor so I'm cooking them a little before I make the cobbler.
Happy New Years to everyone.Our neighbors do a big fireworks so we'll be up sitting outside and enjoying.My prayers are for a better year also.
Mike your lettuce garden looked nice!
We had a chef salad tonight,lettuce,cheese,egg,onion,green olives,tomato,ham and turkey.
Last night we had fried cubed pork, rice and gravy, mustard greens, deviled eggs and cornbread.
Tonight we're having corned beef out of the can with a onion gravy over mashed potatoes and creamed corn.
We had chili out of the freezer and I made cornbread.
Left overs here too,I had a meatloaf sandwich,husband had ham sandwich and soup.
We had taco salad today.
Christmas supper for us was just a regular meal, we had meatloaf, macaroni and cheese and greens that was already cooked from the freezer, lemon pound cake and cookies our neighbor gifted us.
Merry Christmas to you all!Just the two of us also very quiet and peaceful day.Lots of remembering times of our past.We've had some of the coldest weather we've had.It was 29* this morning.Ya'll can keep all that snow because we don't want it.It's only snowed here a few times in my life.
Mike your sweet potato pie and wifes trifle looked very good.
Tonight we had BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw and baked beans.
I made two loaves of banana bread today one to my SIL that lives next to me.
I used leftovers and made lima bean soup with that we had a grilled bologna and cheese sandwich.

Today I baked two lemon supreme pound cakes from the Duncan Hines box,one for a neighbor and one for a friend down the road.
