BakerAunt,Mike,Italiancook,Chocomouse and Kimbob.Thank you all and I really miss her so much but know she's better off.I called her every morning and after supper everyday and I miss that.If I didn't call her first she'd call me and I have this on my answering machine several times (15)when she couldn't get me. "Joan , this is your sister,where are ya?Call me when you can, I love ya".And yes I listen to it ,big smile for me!

I got peas and okra that was already cooked and frozen from the freezer,to that I added a tomato that I had sliced and diced up,some butter beans from last night and a can of okra corn and tomatoes that is mixed and added more sliced okra.I cooked that and it simmered till sorta thick soup and we had a grilled cheese on the side.

I made the small chocolate cake today and frosted with chocolate icing.Got my chocolate fix.

Last night we had leftover beef stew topped on rice,garden peas and carrots and buttermilk biscuits.

Tonight I fired up the smoker and smoked pork chops then BBQ sauced them up havily like we like them, with that I made fresh macaroni salad, green butter beans and sliced tomatoes.

I made Sloppy Joe's we had that over bread and a baked sweet potato.

We had hamburger steaks and fries.

I made chicken pot pie from leftover baked chicken and we had a lettuce and tomato salad with it.

I used leftover to make lima bean soup.

I brined two nice pork chops then smoked them and 4 hamburger patties with coals indirect heating they cooked about an hour then I put BBQ sauce on chops.We had potato salad and I made baked beans with it.All was good,we'll have the hamburgers later.I'm the grill master at my house.I like to use hickory wood chips but didn't have any but the taste was very good anyway.

I took chili from the freezer and made chili cheese hotdogs.Ice cream later on.

We had stew beef,mashed potatoes and garden peas.

No cooking here tonight I had a tomato,lettuce & onion sandwich my husband had a sub from Fire House Subs.
