Sliced wonky's Raisin Bread this morning. It's delicious. Turned out perfect in spite of not thoroughly drying the raisins. I ate it toasted and untoasted.
Italiancook...Glad you liked it. It is wonderful toasted, and makes delicious french toast. It is a favorite among the folks I bake for.
wonky, I would never have thought of making French toast with the raisin bread, but it sound delicious. I'm going to make that for supper tonight. Thanks for the suggestion!
Almost any bread makes a good French toast! I've even seen it made with a chocolate zucchini bread.
