Time for a menu switch to autumn recipes! Dinner was baked haddock, roasted baby potatoes, and acorn squash.

Today may have been last day of upper 80's, so I did burgers on the grill.

I made tomato soup. It was good with the Irish brown Bread (see baking thread).

We had more of the leftover black-eyed peas with brown rice and ham.

I made 2 pork tenderloins (about 1 pound each) on the BBQ for today and the next several days. I also made some meatballs on the BBQ to go into the freezer for future meals.

Today I had wings with carrots and celery.

That looks yummy, Joan. I've always liked wings.

Tonight I made stir fry, green beans, snap peas, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and bbq pork tenderloin. Had it with rice.

We did our major recycling/grocery/shopping run this morning and got back for a late lunch. We decided to finish the black-eyed peas, rice, and ham.

Thanks Len, I'm having the leftovers tonight.

Since I had to go in at 7 this morning to open the store at 8 (our opener had a doctor's appointment) and was able to leave at 3, I decided to make the Warm Vegetable and Grain Bowl from Ina's Go To Dinners - it was easy but quite a few different parts. It is really good - filling but not heavy. Another planned over dinner - I have several meals left.

Dinner was a bit late tonight because the weather was nice, and with temperatures in the 70s, the lake is still relatively warm, so I took the kayak out for a paddle, then while Scott went kayaking, I roasted a peeled and cubed honey nut squash from the farmers market and made the green beans with cherry tomatoes, and crumbled goat cheese salad using our last green beans. We had it with more of the leftover roasted chicken breast from a couple of days ago.

We had takeout fast food, I'm in the middle of a major work project scheduled to go live soon and cooking takes a back seat for now.

I made stir fry again, just like yesterday but with noodles this time.
