December 13, 2020 at 5:35 pm #27775Leftover pizza with sweet potatoes two ways cooked by Will
December 13, 2020 at 9:16 pm #27788We had grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with fries.
December 13, 2020 at 10:10 pm #27791I made a chicken roasted on a vertical rack, mushroom gravy, green beans and bow tie pasta. I used the convection mode hoping to get crispy skin but it's not as crispy as I would like, still it came out good.

Will made a really good sweet potato soup from HBH. It wasn’t sweet and was light with the use of vegetable stock and coconut milk. The recipe called for a pesto with kale in it. Will just chopped up fresh kale (we like dinosaur kale) and we sprinkled it in so it wilted.
December 14, 2020 at 4:42 pm #27800Len that chicken looks awesome and Cwcdesign you are so lucky to have Will in the kitchen with you!I would love to be able to visit in each others kitchen.
Tonight we had a fried porkchop with rice and tomato gravy and lima beans.
December 14, 2020 at 5:08 pm #27803Beef stroganoff. I'm tired of thinking what to cook and then cooking! 😂🤣
December 14, 2020 at 6:09 pm #27805Len, your chicken makes a pretty picture and looks delicious. Did you put a dry rub on it? Or butter or olive oil the skin before roasting?
December 14, 2020 at 7:38 pm #27808I roasted a large chicken for dinner on Monday. I also roasted potato wedges that I had tossed in olive oil and sprinkled with Penzey’s Bavarian seasoning and a little salt. Microwaved frozen vegetables completed dinner.
December 14, 2020 at 9:15 pm #27813I rubbed the chicken with olive oil, I thought about using butter but oil is just easier to use. I seasoned it with salt with a pinch of sugar in it, a little sprinkle of garlic powder and paprika.
Tonight I made a chicken sandwich and brussels sprouts smothered with mushroom gravy.
December 15, 2020 at 2:26 pm #27825You know Joan, when this crazy virus finally goes away or gets tamed, it would be possible - you’re not that faraway - we could even meet in the middle
December 15, 2020 at 5:13 pm #27828Cwcdesign that sounds good!
Today I seared a 3 pound sirloin tip roast in my dutch oven then poured 2 cans of golden mushroom soup over and a package of onion soup mix and baked in oven for 3 hours, when done I pulled all meat apart and put back in the gravy it was really tender and we have enough for atleast 4 more meals yay! With that we had mashed potatoes and green butter beans.
December 15, 2020 at 6:24 pm #27830We had leftover roast chicken, microwaved fresh broccoli, and I roasted more potato wedges. I was going to make mashed potatoes, but my husband preferred the wedges, and as they are faster, with less hands-on time, I was happy to accommodate him.
